Twelve Blogs Of Christmas Day 7

Hello everyone. I have sort of a non-guest blogger today ;P This busy lady wasn't able to formally join us this year so I am blogging some of her beautiful decor on her behalf. Shelley at House of Smiths has an amazing home. I've seen a few homes with the white, silver, blue's and green's this year.  I'll be honest.  I've never been a fan of blue's for Christmas.  But after seeing some very talented decorations with those colors this year, I am slowly becoming a huge fan!

I am amazed how she adds just the right amount of texture to break up the whites and silvers.  The branches in the pitcher and the pom poms on the candle sticks.  Absolutely stunning. 

I already decorate with white and silver.  The blue/green tones just add that crisp wintry feel for me.  How about this great idea?  Little stick on rhinestones.  Oh my gosh, I could stick these all over my house!  Don't they add the perfect embellishment?  And they make these earthy textures glimmer a bit.

I just love the subway art I see everywhere.  I live in a rental right now so painting and bead board are not in the cards for me right now.  I have to add life to the house in other ways and I adore subway art.  There are those awesome pom poms again.  It's a good thing I exert a certain amount of control or my entire house would be covered in rhinestones, slip covers and pom poms lol.
