Wardrobe Makeover

This will be a post of little words as I think this piece really speaks for itself.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I still plan to find that perfect stencil to do in black along the bottom in the near future and I'm currently looking for some chunky candle sticks to complete the top decor.

I had just started sanding the top when I thought "Crap I need a before picture!"
The mirror in the long door was missing when I got this and the mirror in the small cabinet was pretty old and showing it's age.  So instead of replacing them... we opted for fabric.

The fabric is black and cream paisley and coordinates pretty well with my comforter which is damask.  The number "1" even though it's the same font as the other number, came out much bolder so I think I'll thin it out eventually.  I was super happy with this though it still needed something.

I've had this mirror for a long time, it used to be hung in my powder bath.  Since we've moved it's been sitting in my craft room waiting to find the perfect home.  I think I just found it.  The plant helped break it up against the white wall as well.  Now just to find those perfect chunky candle sticks!

Over all I'm overly pleased with how this turned out.  I need something on the windows... it never ends does it?

When I first saw the wardrobe I knew she had potential also, but I wasn't picturing what you were talking about when you said you were going to use fabric on the doors. It really turned out great!

I love this. I don't think it needs the extra stencil. Looks great with just the numbers. Do you have knobs? I couldn't see any. Love the fabric too. I'm a fan of paisley!
