Powder Bath Pt II

This has been one of those projects where when I thought it out in my head it would have been done and over in a week flat.  Now here I am three weeks later with a laundry list of things still needing to be finished lol.  Isn't that always the way it goes?

Well here is an update on the progress in the powder bath.  I've gotten all the panelling up.  Filled all the holes and caulked the seams.  Painted the base coat for my harlequin pattern and cut the pieces for the mirror frame.  And broke my toe.

Mrs Type A herself helpin out with gluing the panels.

This was when we ran out of glue and tried what we had on hand, E-6000 glue.  FAIL!

Holes are filled from the nail gun.

Broken toe.  Don't look too close, I'm in desperate need of a pedi!  And it's totally obvious I've been working in the garage in flip flops, hence the broken toe lol.  Note to self, wear tennies in the garage!

And here is how the bathroom looks today.  There is the moulding for the mirror laying on the tile.  I have clips on my mirror so I have to take it off and glue it to the wall before I can continue on the framing.

So I still have to frame the mirror, paint the ceiling, paint the harlequin pattern, paint the paneling, put the baseboards back on and the chair rail.  Then decorate.  LOL please pray for me.

Oh girl! I feel your pain... not only with the broken toe (I too wear flip flops during construction!)... but also on the time line of things. We've been remodeling our kitchen now for a year! You'll get there, keep going! Can't wait to see the final masterpiece!

I think your bath is looking great! We have been doing our bedroom. What color are your walls. I'm sorry about your toe. I hope it doesn't hurt too badly.

It will be all worth it! I know the feeling though- I always wear sandals when I'm working...sometimes barefoot!

Hi Sommer! What is your Etsy shop name? I spied a pillow you did on another blog and would love to check it out but your link isn't working. =(

Oh yes because I don't have any listings right now =) I didn't renew anything before we moved last month but I'm working on filling it back up soon! You can always email me to request an item and I will get one to you.
